Full Job Description
As Cellar Manager, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cellar Person to support the smooth running of our cellars. This role is primarily focused on cellar management, including handling deliveries, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean and organised cellar.,
- To take charge and control the organisation of stocks and deliveries whilst managing budget lines for the cellar.
- To manage the cellar budget ensuring all invoices are checked and processed correctly following company policy and to deal with any discrepancies of orders and invoices in a swift and efficient manner.
- Rotate stock to ensure proper stock control and minimise waste.
- Keep the cellar clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards
- Ensure correct storage conditions for all beverages.
- To be present for and oversee all internal and external stocktakes and audits.
Minimum of 2 years managing the cellar operation in an events and catering environment. - Proven track record of managing internal stocktakes and observation of external audits.
- Food Safety Level 2 Certificate
- Experience using a diary management systems.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
- Demonstrate a high level of organisation and time management.
- Excellent record keeping.
