Job Description

To manage and plan the duties of site based cleaners to ensure the building is cleaned in a safe and efficient manner.

The Individual

Knowledge of the cleaning industry, including chemicals and machinery.

Supervisory experience

Educated to a good general standard and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience

Numerate

Attention to detail

Prioritise tasks/actions

Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and on own initiative

Plan workload

Self-confident and self-motivated

Knowledge of good housekeeping practices

Ability to lead a team

Good communication skills

Administrative and organisational skills

Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety working practices

Ability to work without close supervision to deliver quality standards

Diplomacy

Approachable

Pleasant manner

Physically capable of all general cleaning duties including lifting of cleaning equipment and climbing stairs

Starting Salary: £27,455.48 (pro-rata)
£14.27 per hour
14.32 Hours per Week (term time)
