Chartered Engineer - Bridge Structures

A leading UK engineering consultancy is looking for Chartered Civil Engineers to join their renowned Consulting Structures team across Scotland.

You’ll be at the heart of delivering high-impact infrastructure projects, including major trunk road and bridge schemes, with cumulative project values exceeding £1bn working alongside government agencies. 

This role could be based anywhere in Scotland with access to offices across the country.  

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a civil design team

• Deliver technically sound, compliant engineering solutions

• Oversee work on large-scale transport infrastructure projects

• Manage budgets, timelines, and health & safety standards.

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Strong civil/structural design experience at Senior Engineer level or higher

• Chartered or Incorporated status (or on the pathway)

• Deep knowledge of CDM, technical standards, and risk management

• Confident in managing teams and client relationships
