Chef / Cook

An opportunity exists for a full time Chef/Cook to join our team at Dunbar Garden Centre Restaurant. The position would offer a 37.5hr week working 5 days out of 7 with daytime hours only. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure, to join our kitchen team in the production of tasty and wholesome produce for our restaurant and farm shop.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2yrs experience in a similar role, we would also consider a less experienced candidate who could demonstrate a knowledge of good homestyle cooking and a willingness to learn. We are proud of the fact that all our food is produced on site using fresh and local produce where possible, so a candidate with a similar passion is a must.

The candidate would be working along side our head chef and sous chef to ensure our restaurant continues to provide an excellent experience for our customers. Good communication skills and an ability to work well as as part of a team would be essential. Remuneration dependant on experience.
