Chef de PartieFort Augustus, ScotlandPay: £15.77 per hour (Travel allowance provided)Hours: 73.5 hours per week - 10.5hrs per dayRotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks offPlease note: This role is subject to a DBS check, which will be arranged by the company.Set in the beautiful surroundings of Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands, this is a unique opportunity to work in a truly stunning and remote location. Situated at the southwestern tip of Loch Ness in the Great Glen, it is a key village known for its canal locks and scenic Highland setting between Inverness and Fort William.Role OverviewAs a Chef de Partie in the Sodexo Energy & Resources asset catering team, you will take ownership of a dedicated section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency, and upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene.Beyond delivering excellent food, you will play an important role in shaping the overall resident experience. Through well-presented, thoughtfully prepared meals and a genuine pride in your craft, you will help create a welcoming, engaging environment that supports residents' wellbeing, rest, and recovery. You will naturally build positive relationships with residents during service, contributing to a friendly and approachable atmosphere that makes the village feel like a true home-from-home.Working closely with the wider team, you will support food-led promotions, themed dining experiences, and village events that bring variety and enjoyment to daily life. By listening to resident feedback and recognising opportunities to enhance satisfaction, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement across the village, while acting as a proud ambassador for Sodexo's Remote Living proposition.What you'll do

compliance with food safety standards, including temperature control and hygiene procedures Manage and rotate stock to ensure food safety, minimise waste and support cost control Comply fully with Health and Safety at Work legislation Support catering budget control and efficient use of resources Deputise for the Head Chef when required Maintain awareness and compliance with company and client policies, risk assessments and safe systems of work Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and clientsWhat You'll Bring City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 (or equivalent) Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (REHIS or equivalent) - mandatory Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Understanding of COSHH, food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills and attention to detailWhat We Offer Good rate of pay All meals and accommodation provided during your working rotation Free on-site
