Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team and play a vital role in streamlining our culinary offerings. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience and a proven track record in simplifying menus, with a focus on items such as soups, sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls, and other straightforward yet delicious options., 1. Menu Simplification: Work closely with the management team to simplify to elevate the quality of our offerings, with a particular focus on high-quality production of soups, sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls, and in-house cakes. Emphasise a simplified menu that showcases the use of local and seasonal ingredients, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

2. Stock Management: Take charge of ordering kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring optimal stock levels while managing costs effectively.

3. Team Rota: Develop and manage kitchen staff rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage during operating hours.

4. Hygiene and Safety Checks: Implement and oversee rigorous hygiene and safety checks to maintain compliance with industry standards.

5. Operational Efficiency: Streamline kitchen processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce complexities.

6. Staff Training: Contribute to the training and development of kitchen staff to ensure consistency and high standards.

7. Quality Control: Implement and uphold quality control measures to deliver consistent and excellent food offerings.

8. Cost Control: Work within budget constraints, finding cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.

· Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience.

· Proven track record in simplifying menus and optimising kitchen operations.

· Strong organisational and leadership skills.

· Food Safety Level 3 Qualification

· Thorough knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.

· Effective communication and team collaboration skills.,

  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
