Job Purpose:
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape the future of financial planning, sustainability and best value at The Highland Council. As Chief Officer Corporate Finance, you will lead a growing and dedicated finance team, capitalise on our modern corporate finance system and play a central role in driving transformation, efficiency and service excellence across the organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders and Chief Officers, you will ensure robust financial strategies are in place to support the Council’s ambitious programme of change, major regional investment and long‑term budget sustainability. You will motivate and lead with integrity, taking a rigorous and collaborative approach to your statutory role as Section 95 Officer.
