An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a growing civil engineering contractor delivering projects across roads, drainage, housing, earthworks and infrastructure.

This role would suit either an experienced Site or Section Engineer looking to progress or a graduate Civil Engineer seeking their first opportunity. The successful Civil Engineer will gain exposure to a wide range of projects while working alongside experienced engineering professionals. This Civil Engineer role provides excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across multiple civil engineering projects.
• Solve engineering and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and regulations.
• Produce RAMS and technical documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings and monitor progress.
• Carry out site inspections.
• Support temporary works and lift planning.
• Assist commercial teams during tender stages.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and MS Office.
• HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence desirable.
