Your New Role:

National Civil Engineering Contractor with a growing team and enviable footprint of projects across the country have a requirement for an experienced CIVILS ESTIMATOR to join their pre-construction team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CIVILS ESTIMATOR to join a real household name in the industry with the scope to work on prestigious projects across the country.

Responsibilities:

·       Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of civil engineering works.

·       Review and interpret tender documentation, specifications, and drawings.

·       Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical input.

·       Produce Bills of Quantities and take-offs from drawings.

·       Identify and assess risks associated with project tenders.

·       Support bid submissions and presentations to clients.

·       Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure tender proposals are achievable and competitive.

Candidate Requirements:

·       Experienced as an Estimator in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction.

·       Good understanding of civil engineering methods, materials, and rates.

·       Proficient in the use of estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

·       Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

·       Confident communicator who can work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Keen to grow within an ambitious business.
