Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO Glasgow we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team, supporting our customer B&Q. You'll be part of a team that works together to keep projects moving, ensuring every delivery helps create homes people love.,

• Carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements
• Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
  
  Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements

  An annual salary of £47,454.53
• An additional £3.70 per hour early shift premium, for hours worked between 04:00 and 06:00
