Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

We are looking for a dependable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Dumbarton. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The role primarily involves driving a tipper lorry while always representing the company in a professional manner.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver seeking stable, full-time employment with consistent Monday to Friday working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate tipper lorry in accordance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on schedule.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other road users.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the vehicle.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Always represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Safe and responsible approach to driving.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a driving a tipper lorry.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Experience completing delivery paperwork.
• Good knowledge of the local area.

• Starting rate of £13.71 per hour.
• Pay increase following successful completion of the 6-month probationary period.
