Full Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. For this position you will be responsible for cleaning the local community centre (The Cornerstone). This involves responsibility for hoovering the floors, mopping the floors, low- and high-level dusting as well as cleaning the toilets and also emptying and replacing all waste bins. The role of Cleaning Technician will include:
- Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with local and legislative procedures, serving as a first point of contact
- Identify and report any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment in maintained
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
- Maintain stock levels and ensure requisitions are completed and authorised in a timely manner
Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties - Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery
- Some experience in understanding simple verbal instructions and undertaking duties as requested
- Good understanding of written and spoken English

- The full-time equivalent salary for this role is £26,436 per year based on 40 hours per week
