Full Job Description

West Lothian College is looking to appoint a Commercial Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative, organisational and coordination support to the Commercial and Contract team within the Computing, Engineering and Built Environment faculty.

As well as providing a comprehensive and high-quality administrative assistance to commercial and contract team, there will be a specific focus on ensuring the efficient planning, delivery and evaluation of commercial training programmes, events, and employer engagement activities. Working closely with internal departments and faculties, as well as external stakeholders, this role contributes directly to the achievement of the College's Commercial Plan by supporting income-generating activities, maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring compliance with quality and funding requirements, and promoting a positive experience for all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for these roles will be qualified to SQA Higher level (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent and will have demonstrable experience of consistently delivering high-quality work on time and to tight timescales, along with experience of working in a busy environment whilst delivering high-quality administrative support and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Those shortlisted will be required to undertake a competency and values-based interview and asked to answer a scenario-based question ahead of the interview.
