Successful experience as a Commercial Manager working with multiple projects and with a minimum of 4 years in this role Educated to Degree level in a relevant Commercial, Construction or Project Management qualification (preferred but not essential) Joint Venture experience Member of a Professional Institution or working towards application of the ICES, or similar Open collaborative approach and willing to help and assist those around you Whats in it for you? EGL2 project is a JV with Hitachi Energy (HEBAM) and 5-year project which will see the creation of a 525kV, 2GW high voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea transmission cable from Peterhead in Scotland to Drax in England. This will be the longest HVDC Cable in the UK and the UKs single largest transmission project ever, providing enough power for 2 million UK homes.
