Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide commercial and contractual expertise for a major defence project within Assystem's PM&C team. You will help manage costs, risk, procurement, and commercial governance across the project lifecycle in a highly regulated environment. You'll collaborate with contract leads, finance, and project controls to keep commercial performance and forecasting on track. The work offers exposure to NEC-based contracts and CEMAR-driven processes, contributing to safe, compliant project delivery at scale. Pay / Benefits

• Contract administration for existing contracts Provide commercial advice to Contract Leads Ensure contract timelines are met (CEMAR management) Applications for Payment Bid support for new call-off contracts Cost control and forecasting Change management and early warnings Progress reporting and interface with client and project managers Liaise with Finance, Cost Engineering and project controls Support weekly/monthly progress meetings Tasks Strong NEC contract experience (preferably NEC4 Professional Services) Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate) Quantity Surveying degree (preferred) Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high accuracy CEMAR experience (desirable) Security clearance required Key requirements
