Full Job Description
As a Spray Painter at W H Malcolm Ltd, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to a variety of surfaces, including HGV vehicles, machinery, and industrial equipment. You will ensure that all work meets our high standards for quality and durability.,
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired results.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
Proven experience as a commercial spray painter, preferably in an automotive or industrial industry - Proficient in using spray guns and other painting tools.
- Strong knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the painting industry.
- Certification or training in spray painting techniques is a plus.
