Full Job Description

Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for a Commis Chef to join the team at The Selborne Hotle, Dunoon., As a Commis Chef you will work 36 hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with an hourly rate of £13.10 - Regardless of age!, As a Commis Chef you will assist with all aspects of the kitchen operation from the preparation, cooking and serving of the food to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times including stock rotation, labelling and cleaning of equipment as required. You will work closely with the Head and Second Chefs; making this an ideal opportunity for any candidates looking to progress their career in the kitchen. This is a real team effort.

Experience in a similar role-passionate and enthusiastic individual who enjoys the art of cookery
Strong communication skills
Understanding of all aspects related to food safety regulations
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Ability to work under the pressure of a busy kitchen whilst maintaining attention to detail
Positive can-do attitude and being a team player

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
Passion for the industry
