Commis Waiter

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager for W Edinburgh and SUSHISAMBA, you will support the service team with our guests while they dine in the restaurant: making them feel welcome, serving their food and drink orders, and ensuring they have the best possible time while dining with us. Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel's operation and beyond. We are looking for someone who is a people-person, loves the buzz of working in a busy restaurant, and is passionate about what they do! As a Commis Waiter/Waitress, key aspects of your role will include:

• Have a good knowledge of the food and beverage on offer in SUSHISAMBA
• Be proactive in learning about our menus and the culture of the places they have been inspired by
• Serve food and drink orders and answer any questions on the menu including any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
• Ensure guests enjoy their time with us, checking back for satisfaction and ensuring tables are cleared promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silver throughout the day
• Restock items
• Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
• Work as a team with the rest of the SUSHISAMBA team, supporting wherever necessary as directed by your manager
