Full Job Description

You will be responsible for marketing commodities, including oilseeds and sugars. All represent a rapidly expanding segment within our global operations, that now demands dedicated sales resource to ensure continued growth and delivery.

  • The marketing and sales of agriculture-based commodity lines;

  • Engage pre-identified sales leads through cold and warm sales practices;

  • Work to sell physical tonnage in oilseeds and sugar across the region;

  • Network and deliver excellent external communication to various stakeholders;

  • Work closely with our management capacity to identify growing demand and ensure volume is available to trade and deliver;

  • Review and manage underperforming commodity lines and prioritize customer allocation;

  • Undertake market research to identify unrealized sales capacity in new regions;

  • Generate marketing and community engagement resources;

  • Supporting the Sales Function with internal developments and overhauls;

  • Work with colleagues from across the globe.

  • Understand the importance and champion administrative and organizational delivery;

  • Good base creative and presentation skills;

  • A lot of patience and persistence., National 5 English (Grade A)

  • National 5 Math (Grade A)

  • Deep interest in commodities & supply chains, GCSE or equivalent (required)

    TP-Exports is currently recruiting for a Commodity Sales Apprentice to join our team in the UK. This represents an excellent opportunity for someone to develop and work in a complex, market-sensitive function, where you will be dealing with stakeholders across the globe to support commodity trading activities, alongside gaining a Supply Chain Management qualification., We are surrounded daily by information that can offer advantages and disadvantages to us as a whole, so having an interest already in the world of commodities, stocks, geopolitics and future developments, will be a huge boost in aiding you to undertake and develop your career at TP-Exports.


  • What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • Supply Chain Management at SCQF Level 7 (Modern Apprenticeship)

  • Remote and in-person training;

  • 1-day block per week for training.
