Community Learning and Development Worker

We are looking for CLD worker who will be employed to support youth and community-based activities throughout the year.

You will be supporting our communities to be strong, with a voice and the capacity to shape and build on strengths and assets.

Working as part of a team, you will work with individuals, groups and communities in neighbourhoods across Renfrewshire e.g:

• Youth voice programmes
• Youth projects and events
• Holiday programmes
• Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme
• Community projects
• Working with volunteers

It is essential that you have experience in working with people; strong communication skills; positive and flexible approach to work, and open to learning new skills.

It would be advantageous to have any of the following: IT skills; specialist areas of work (e.g. drama, crafts; outdoor, etc), a clean driving licence and experience of driving minibuses (D1); outdoor qualifications, volunteering experience.

All applicants will be subject to Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme and be offered mandatory training to assist staff in their role.
