Full Job Description

Job Description

In this post, you will provide supervision, support and guidance to people who are subject to a Community Payback Order with an Unpaid Work Requirement, issued by the Court.  This will require an ability to establish working relationships with service users to motivate them to comply with the requirements of any Court orders that they have.  You will also be required to work with colleagues and service users to identify opportunities to undertake appropriate activities as part of Community Payback Orders.  Through this role, you will promote community safety and reduce the risk of reoffending by offering support, advice and guidance.

This role may require flexible, evening and weekend working.

This post will be based within the Aberdeenshire Justice Social Work Service.  In this post, you will work with people who are open to the Justice Social Work Service who require additional support to complete their community-based order from the Court. This often involves two-to-one and one-to-one work. Much of the work you will do alongside Justice service users will be based outdoors, at different locations across the Central and South Aberdeenshire area.

You must therefore hold a current valid driving licence.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
