Full Job Description

This role is supervising service users on Court Orders undertaking unpaid work within the local community. The role is lone working with up to 5 service users, with the support of the team based in the office. The ideal candidate would be able to lead the way in daily work tasks given by the co-ordinator. This role is, demonstrating, teaching, overseeing work such as creative arts, gardening, painting, litter picking and workshop based tasks while working alongside service users. We are looking for a punctual, non judgemental person, who can display positive role modelling and has the ability to motivate service users into daily work tasks. While we do not look for trade specific qualifications a keen interest and ability in gardening, painting, woodwork etc would be beneficial.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted in instalments from your wages following commencement of employment.
