Post Title: Community Works Operative 4 (LGV)
Location: Dornoch Roads Depot
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £28,244 - £30,918 Per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the relevant grade scale.

Job Purpose:

• Carry out road and winter maintenance duties as directed.

• Drive HGV vehicles including Snow Ploughs.

• Potential to be involved in other community works activities such as grounds maintenance, Burials, street sweeping and refuse collection.

Requirements

• Possession of Driving Licence for LGV, Category C and C + E. However, if an applicant has other attributes to offer the Council in relation to Roads Maintenance then training may be given to assist the applicant to gain their LGV licence.
