Consultant, Workday Financials, Technology & Transformation

As a Workday Finance Consultant, your role will involve:

• Engaging in the delivery of Workday Finance projects, assisting clients with their transformation strategies, and supporting various stages of Workday delivery projects.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their current processes and contribute to the development of overall solutions and end-to-end business processes, supported by Workday technology.
• Assisting in the identification of key client process and technology / integration issues and supporting the recommendation of solutions.
• Configuring Workday applications to meet the client's business requirements under guidance.

• Experience in working with or maintaining finance ERP systems.
• Assisting clients in developing their to-be business processes and Workday solution/data flow, as well as integration points to non-Workday systems.
• Supporting the translation of business requirements into specific system, application or process designs covering both functional and non-functional aspects.
• Demonstrating a foundational understanding of Workday transactional data flows and providing support for data migration activities.
• Possessing good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Supporting stakeholder management through clear communications and contributing to client relationships.
• Demonstrating an awareness of risk in relation to ERP delivery projects.
• Working effectively within an inclusive team and actively supporting the development of individuals and teams, both formally and informally.
• Supporting data cleansing, conversion, and reconciliation from legacy systems, along with executing User Acceptance Testing
Desirables:
• An active Workday Financials certification is a strong plus.
• Strong experience in Workday implementation
• Exposure to core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses).
• Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's) and a willingness to learn Workday's configuration tools.
