Full Job Description

This role will sit within the Digital & Content team, focusing on creating effective and engaging full funnel content for our audiences in line with our campaign strategies. This position will report directly to the VP and be part of a dynamic, focused and fun team. This role will work with campaign programme marketers and product marketers to drive commercial success and growth by creating creative, engaging and effective content.,

  • Own the full funnel content strategy and development for the audiences and segments the role is aligned to

  • Work with multiple stakeholders across the marketing team you will be a key figure internally for content creation and writing as part of wider projects, campaigns and programmes

  • Work closely with our wider marketing, product and research teams to craft content topics and themes within the natural resources and energy transition sectors to align with audiences needs and interest areas

  • Develop interesting and engaging content (written, video, audio and graphic) to appeal to our global audience across the natural resources and energy transition sectors. Note this role will not be expected to personally create graphic and audio content from scratch, instead you will work with inhouse teams and agencies to create this

  • Work with the content, creative, product and regional marketing teams to create a campaign content strategy, plan and calendar

  • Effectively brief and work with in-house teams as well as external agencies and freelance writers

  • Proofread, re-structure and edit content by other writers, optimising written pieces to increase user engagement

  • Work with the wider team to optimise user journeys to increase user engagement and conversion

  • Publish content to our website ensuring on-page UX optimisation

  • Enforce editorial governance, inspiring fellow team members to create even better content

  • Optimise digital content for SEO

  • Analyse content performance metrics to find opportunities for optimisation

  • Report on content performance and adopt a continuous improvement and innovation mindset

    To be successful in this role you'll be a content marketing professional with content marketing experience, preferably within a B2B organisation. You'll be able to develop engaging content to attract and engage new potential customers. For this position, it's also essential to be up to date with digital marketing trends. It will be beneficial if you have some knowledge of the energy and commodity markets.


  • Proven experience as a Content Marketing Manager, Content Editor, Marketing Campaign Manager or similar role

  • Experience of creating inspiring content in a global business

  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English

  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and engage peers and senior stakeholders

  • Highly evolved communication skills and an ability to translate technical information into audience-focused content

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively

  • Proficiency in MS Office and web content management software (eg Optimizely)

  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences and use data to maximise impact

  • Understanding of web publishing and hands-on experience with SEO and GA metrics

  • Project management skills and attention to detail

  • An energetic, tenacious, results-orientated approach who has an innovative mindset


  • Expectations
  • We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.

  • While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.

  • Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
