Part -Time (30 Hours) and Full Time (40 Hours)

3 X 10 Hour Shift Over 7 days dayshift ( 8am to 6PM)

4 x 10 Hour Shift Over 7 days dayshift ( 8am to 6PM)

Salary – £11.70 per hour

Fantastic opportunities are available for a cook, to contribute to the provision of the Talbot Association’s residential care & support services, to homeless adults within Glasgow.

Experience of working in a Kitchen environment, preparing, planning and serving cooked food would be beneficial. Ideally you will hold all the relevant elementary Food Hygiene Certificates or be willing to obtain the certificate during your employment.  

Job Responsibilities:

To prepare, cook, present and serve food for clients, at specified times.

To plan menus within an agreed budget, prepare and cook food in line with approved recipes and keep food wastage to a minimum.

In agreement with the management, order food supplies whilst keeping within the agreed budget.

To ensure that all cleaning is done in a safe and hygienic manner, ensuring that all statutory regulations governing food preparation and hygiene, whilst working safely within organisation policies.
