Full Job Description

As a venue on the beautiful west coast of Scotland, we're looking for a cook with a real passion for hospitality and showcasing the amazing produce that our country has to offer. Our menu incorporates traditional pub classics as well as new and upcoming trends and our kitchen will be high volume once the season gets going. The menu and dishes are not overly complicated, and so we don't expect hours and hours of prep time for just a few hours of service; you don't need to have in-depth technical skills, but you do need to be able to keep calm under pressure.

The successful candidate will have 1 years experience in a similar role and will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of day to day running of the kitchen; cooking and preparing dishes; all aspects of H&S and food safety legislation, paperwork and record-keeping; ensuring food quality and excellent presentation standards are maintained consistently. The pace is fast, but our team are super-friendly and really passionate about delivering quality service and dishes every time.

The successful candidate will have relevant Food Safety qualifications, as well as training in COSHH and HACCP and will demonstrate an awareness of and enthusiasm for food trends, as well as showing a commitment to ongoing personal development.,
