An exciting opportunity to join our friendly Team here at Mains House catering for up to 25 residents and staff.
Job requires successful, candidate to
Maintain a high standard for all food preparation including preparing meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Follow standards as set out by management for inventory stocking, rotating, storing products and recording.
Plate up of meals ensuring the products are aesthetically presented and that they follow menu choices, dietary requirements and correct portion sizes at all times.
Comply with all food hygiene regulations with regards to food handling, storage and departmental cleaning & responsible for ensuring all cleaning schedules are signed off after each area has been cleaned.
Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high standards. Staff must be flexible, adaptable and work to support other staff, who have responsibility to residents.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
