Do you have experience of food preparation and cooking of meals within a working kitchen that supports tenants and service users daily,

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated, compassionate and flexible individual who understands and respects the rights of other people? If so, we want you to come and join our Housing with care service within Falkirk.

Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership deliver high quality care and support to people of all ages and with varying levels of need. Your role will be a cook within the kitchen at Dorrator Court and include stock control, ordering of food along with the preparation, cooking and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals.

Our service operates 7 days per week and the contract being offered is for 37 hours per week for a period of 6 months to cover absence. Shift pattern will be discussed at interview.

A level of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.

All posts involve periods of lone working.

This post is temporary until November 2026 to cover sick leave.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
