Job Description

Live Life Aberdeenshire are looking for someone with excellent customers service skills to join our libraries and cultural team.

As part of the libraries team, you will assist in the provision of library services to the community. As well as having excellent communication skills, you will need good ICT skills and the ability to work with both adults and children. In addition, the postholder will participate in a range of duties such as helping customers with any enquiries, children’s events and storytelling and participating in outreach events. It is essential that you have a flexible approach and an enthusiasm for reading and promoting literacy.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This is a fixed term vacancy for up to 2 years. Rota requires working 10am-2pm every 2nd Saturday.
