Customer Service Adviser
Council Offices, Kirkwall
21 Hours per week
Permanent
£31,356 - £31,995 pro rata
£17.18 - £17.53 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Customer Services Manager.
Your normal working pattern will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, accessible and customer-focused services to the public on behalf of the Council. You will be the first point of contact, and deliver a wide range of services through multiple channels including face-to-face, telephone, email and digital services.
You’ll play an important role in delivering key Council services, from answering enquiries and processing payments to supporting applications and service requests. You’ll work as part of a supportive, positive team, focused on providing a great customer experience.
