Customer Service & Operations Support | Full Training Provided | Temp to Perm

Salary: 27,000 - 28,000 per annum

Location: Bathgate

We are looking for an organised, proactive Logistics Coordinator to join a fast‑paced operational team. This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem‑solving, and can confidently support multiple business functions at once.

You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, acting as a central link between customers, drivers, and internal teams. Full training on systems and processes is provided, along with ongoing support to help you succeed and grow in the role.

This position suits someone with a background in customer service, logistics administration, or operational coordination who enjoys working in a busy, live environment. This role will start temporary with a view to going permanent after successful completion of a 16 week period.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied role where you'll be involved in lots of different areas, including:

• Supporting job pricing, quotes and general customer enquiries
• Speaking with customers about job progress, changes and confirmations
• Keeping job information up to date across systems, trackers and shared inboxes
• Supporting the day‑to‑day operational workflow and flagging any issues
• Working closely with the control team to help with job allocation, tracking and driver coordination
• Monitoring job progress and helping manage any issues or exceptions
• Pitching in during busy periods with planning changes and operational support

A typical day might include:

• Acting as a main point of contact between customer service, operations and control
• Answering calls and responding to queries in a professional, friendly way
• Keeping trackers, dashboards and handover notes accurate and up to date

What we're looking for

• Confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
• Calm under pressure and happy working in a busy environment
• Willing to learn and get stuck in
• Experience in a fast‑paced logistics, transport or operations setting would be a bonus, but not essential
