Full Job Description
We are seeking a Data Coordination and Integration Lead who will coordinate the collection, integration, organisation, standardisation, and quality assurance of research data across the Institute to support migration to cloud based infrastructure and ensure datasets are prepared for AI. You will be able to coordinate the interface between local data storage and cloud infrastructure and help implement metadata standards, support FAIR data principles, coordinate data submission and integration workflows, and ensure consistency of data capture and harmonisation across the organisation. You will also support the implementation of the Institute-wide Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) system and contribute to delivery of the June 2027 data migration and restructuring programme.
The postholder will have a degree in life sciences, bioinformatics, data science, health informatics, or a related discipline. Experience coordinating and integrating scientific, clinical, or research datasets and understanding of data quality, metadata standards, interoperability, and structured data management principles are essential along with strong communication and stake engagement skills.
