Data Engineer

This role is with a major public sector organisation based in Edinburgh. The organisation requires an experienced data engineer to aid in the creation of a data warehouse which will enhance their data analysis capabilities.

What you'll need to succeed

The following skills are essential for this role:

• Python
• PostgreSql
• REST APIs
• Modern DevOps, CI/CD practices: Docker, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, CDK, Cloud Formation
• Experience in SQL, data transformation and analysis
• Experience implementing data ETLs, data streaming systems, data integration solutions

The following skills are desirable for this role:

• Data warehousing
• OpenShift
• TDD
