- Supporting the promotion of best practice and healthy data culture across the SSE Group, participating in engagements with data stewards to understand their current and emerging needs.

- Working with the wider Group data management team to ensure the creation of relevant and accurate data quality metrics for reporting to risk and governance committees.

- Producing and maintaining relevant training material to assist in the education and training of data owners, stewards and managers across the SSE group, with a focus on data quality management and the utilisation of data quality tooling.

Understanding of Data Management disciplines and concepts and a strong interest in the subject matter, ideally focused on data quality.

- Working knowledge of data analysis, visualisation and interpretation, ideally with proficiency in at least one language with query or statistical support e.g. SQL, Python, R.

- The ability to translate business problem statements around data quality into tangible metrics that can be assessed.

- The ability to work and collaborate with a high-performing, multi-disciplined team across remote locations.
