Data & Support Officer – Bairns Hoose Partnership (Temporary)
This post is only open to employees of East Dunbartonshire HSCP/Council, East Renfrewshire HSCP/Council, Inverclyde HSCP/Council or Renfrewshire HSCP/Council.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data and Support Officer to join our Bairns Hoose partnership. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformational approach that ensures children and young people experience a trauma-informed, child-centred system.
In this role, you will support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to help inform decision-making and continuous improvement. You will identify trends, highlight opportunities for development, and contribute to the growth of the North Strathclyde Bairns Hoose model. Alongside this, you will provide high-quality business support to governance structures, including oversight boards and multi-agency working groups.
It is essential that you have experience of delivering services in process driven environments and working with different partner agencies, as well as experience of working with reporting software.
An understanding of Bairns Hoose and the Child Protection journey, alongside other Social Work information is essential, as is knowledge of Local Authority Children’s Social Work and/or Court and Justice processes.
You must also have an understanding of data and information management, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
It is essential that you have confident, articulate, initiative-taking, consultative, listening & communication skills, and the ability to motivate and help implement innovative improvements to systems and procedures.
You will.be flexible, willing to work outside normal hours if required, committed, and able to work on own initiative, work to tight deadlines and respond to challenging and diverse business change requirements. and have a desire to help change systems to ensure that children have a trauma informed experience.
Most importantly, you will be committed to improving systems and processes to ensure that children and young people receive a compassionate, trauma-informed experience.
It is essential that you have a HNC level qualification, or equivalent experience.
A full driving license is desirable.
