Day Porter & Concierge

As a Day Porter & Concierge at Crerar Hotels, you will support our reception, housekeeping and food and beverage teams with porterage, guest services and some food & beverage service as required. You must take pride in your work, presenting yourself well and delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role, which includes weekend shifts, covers a range of duties, including overseeing security, setting up function rooms for events, storing furniture and equipment, and following end-of-day procedures. You will also assist with guests' food and beverage needs, support reception with porterage and guest services, and assist housekeeping with guest requests. With your attention to detail, you'll ensure high standards are maintained. Personable and engaging, you will interact with guests to exceed their expectations and may be asked to assist the cleaning, bar, and reception teams or act as duty manager when required. There will also be a requirement for sickness and holiday cover for our night management team., Scotland provides a sought-after quality of life, ideal for outdoorsy types. Urbanites may find there are limitations, with reduced public transport, small local shops and occasionally - the ultimate modern hardship - patchy phone signal. But those who take that in their stride find that they discover true peace and quiet, wake up to incredible scenery and have Scotland's natural larder to feast on daily. 2.
