Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years continuous sobriety.
  • Member of SSSC or willingness to work towards it.
  • Completion of a 12-step fellowship programme (or actively engaged in ongoing recovery through 12-step principles).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work a rota including day and night shifts, covering weekdays and weekends.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a peer support or mentoring role.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
  • SVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).

What We Offer:

  • Supportive team environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Employee wellbeing support.
  • Pension scheme and holiday entitlement.
