Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental requirements and company procedures.
-
Maintain high standards of quality assurance and ensure works meet client specifications.
-
Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractor resources to maximise productivity and efficiency.
-
Monitor operational performance, project costs and resource utilisation.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
-
Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates on programme, performance, risks and delivery issues.
-
Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
-
Support commercial teams with variations, additional works and contractual changes.
-
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, productivity and site operations.
-
Ensure project documentation, progress reports and site records are maintained accurately.
-
Support the development of site teams and promote a positive culture of accountability, safety and performance.
Requirements
-
Proven experience in a Delivery Manager, Contracts Manager, Construction Manager or similar operational leadership role.
-
Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain delivery standards across multiple projects.
-
Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification preferred.

-
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Competitive salary and benefits package.
