Overview:

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for social media, websites, and all things digital? Ready to dive into the fast-paced world of e-commerce and gain real hands-on experience? Then this Digital Marketing Apprenticeship at HCE could be the perfect first step in your career!

What you’ll be doing:

• Get creative updating product listings and banners on our WordPress and WooCommerce websites
• Write search-friendly, engaging content that helps customers find what they need
• Work with suppliers to gather product info, images and resources
• Track what’s working using Google Analytics and other cool tools
• Support customers on live chat, phone and email – become their go-to web expert!
• Help launch email marketing campaigns with tools like Mailchimp
• Make the website shine by promoting trending products and seasonal deals
• Share your ideas to boost online sales and improve the user experience

What we’re looking for:

• Solid IT skills (don’t worry, we’ll teach the rest!)
• An interest in websites, social media, and online shopping
• Curious, eager to learn, and ready to jump in
• Enthusiastic and passionate about digital marketing

Salary: £13,741 per annum.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm.

This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.  Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work.  They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
