Job purpose: ABOUT GRANTS

Established in 1885, Grant Bros (Meat Canners) Ltd is a long-established Scottish food manufacturer supplying products throughout the UK and internationally.

As we continue to develop our brand, expand our product range and strengthen our online presence, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical marketing experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will assist with a range of digital marketing activities, including:

Social Media: Creating, scheduling and managing engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Tik

Tok and Linked

In.

Content Creation: Producing photography, videos, reels, graphics and written content to promote our products and brand.

Digital Campaigns: Supporting the planning and delivery of promotional campaigns, seasonal activities and new product launches.

Email Marketing: Assisting with creating, delivering and evaluating customer email campaigns using Klaviyo.

Website & E-Commerce: Updating website content, product information and online promotional materials, while developing knowledge of SEO.

Brand Development: Supporting marketing activities that strengthen Grants' brand identity and customer engagement.

Marketing Analytics: Monitoring digital performance, analysing engagement and helping identify opportunities for improvement.

Sales Support: Working alongside our sales team and external content creators to develop promotional materials and marketing ideas.

APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING

The successful candidate will work towards the Diploma in Digital Marketing at SCQF Level 6.

The qualification covers essential areas including understanding the business environment, marketing principles, legal and ethical requirements, digital marketing metrics and analytics.

Depending on the optional units agreed with the training provider, further learning may include:

The role will provide opportunities to put these skills into practice through real marketing projects and campaigns within Grants.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

You should have an interest in social media, digital technology and marketing, alongside good communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness to contribute new ideas.

Previous marketing experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
