Domestic- St Andrews

A vacancy has arisen for a domestic to join our domestic team at St Andrews, Hull within the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for staff members who are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our teams. The post holder will work across all Trust buildings to assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, trust staff, and visitors in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness, by delivering a full cleaning service within the centre. The post available is Monday to Friday 6-10am Main duties of the job Domestics will undertake the following cleaning tasks and duties during a domestic clean:

• High and low-level dusting.
• Cleaning of offices and communal spaces.

  2 GCSEs/O levels English and Maths or demonstrable experience
• Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
• Understanding of current Food Safety Legislation

• Understanding of health promotion through healthy eating
Experience Essential
• Previous working experience with HACCP and COSHH
• Working knowledge of keeping track of cleaning materials
Desirable
• Previous experience of cleaning
• Experience of working in Mental Health services and care homes
Skills and Competencies Essential
• Team player as well as being able to work on your own
• Confident, adaptable, and flexible in approach to working practices

• Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems.
• Ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise/meet deadlines.
