Full Job Description

Implementing and maintaining Bar and Restaurant standards in line with SOPs and Risk Assessments.

Being the allocated Manager and 'Responsible Person' within the hotel for allocated shifts.

Ensuring the successful set up and delivery of all events hosted in the hotel.

Leading by example during bar & restaurant service and taking a hands-on, guest focused attitude always.

Managing the appropriate levels of liquor and linen stocks in line with the business requirements.

Ensuring that new staff are properly inducted and trained.

Being responsible for the handling of guest related complaints in the first instance.

Specific Duties:

Providing a hands-on service within the bar & restaurant. Setting up both areas in accordance with next service.

Ensuring the successful delivery of functions, conferences, and events, including, when required, the setting up and breaking down of weddings.

Working with colleagues to manage linen, crockery, and cutlery stocks.

Ensuring cleaning rotas are maintained for the restaurant, bar, lounges and still room areas.

Taking steps to maximise profitability within the food & beverage operation.

Managing guest complaints effectively and acting as an ambassador to the business.

Managing appropriate staffing levels to ensure an efficient and cost-effective service.

Working a variety of shifts over weekdays & weekends, including bank holidays.
