What you need to know

Contract type: Staff Bank (work on an as-needed basis, ideal if you need flexibility)

Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. The hourly rate is £15.77 per hour.

Location: Glasgow Royal Concert Hall 2 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3NY and City Halls and Old Fruitmarket 100 Candleriggs, Glasgow G1 1NQ with excellent public transport links.


What you’ll do

As a Duty Supervisor, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Duty Manager. You’ll play an essential role in successful delivery of a range of events across Glasgow Life’s flagship venues. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

  • Supporting our communities
  • Helping people get active
  • Creating cultural experiences
  • Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen

  • Strong people skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A friendly and approachable attitude when dealing with customer concerns.
  • Experience in a customer-facing or supervisory role.
  • Understanding of health and safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Team player, supporting colleagues and operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends essential
