Full Job Description
We're looking for a well organised and ICT confident Electronic Procurement Assistant to support our busy E-procurement team. This part-time role offers flexible hours and is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, customer support and digital systems. Part Time is 22 hours per week. About the role: You will be a first point of contact for queries relating to our electronic procurement systems, supporting internal users and suppliers with system access, portal navigation, troubleshooting and process guidance. Working closely with the wider E-Procurement Team, you will help ensure a smooth and user-friendly operation of our e-procurement environment. The systems you will support include Civica Financials/Purchasing, Barclaycard, Sell2Wales and eTenderWales. What you'll do:
- Provide help-desk style support for e-procurement platforms
- Assist with supplier onboarding, registration and tender portal queries
- Troubleshoot access, upload and system-use issues
- Maintain electronic records and ensure data accuracy
- Support the team with system updates, testing, training and user communications
- Promote good procurement practice and excellent customer service
Confident IT user with good understanding of ICT systems - Strong customer service skills and a calm, helpful manner
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible working hours
