Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is recruiting an experienced EA for a company based in the heart of Lanarkshire.


The role is to deliver high-level executive support by efficiently prioritising tasks, managing schedules, organising meetings and communications, producing documents, and handling general administrative duties. 


Salary: Between £35,000-£38,000.

Office based: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30.


Main duties and responsibilities are:

• Serve as the primary contact for the CEO, ensuring the smooth operation of their office during their absence.

• Ensure effective and efficient administration, planning, and coordination of all work streams.

• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures.

• Manage diaries by scheduling, prioritising, and organising appointments and meeting documents.

• Coordinate travel arrangements for all C-Suite directors.

• Handle correspondence, tracking incoming and outgoing communications, and ensuring timely responses.

• Review and prioritize incoming correspondence, preparing draft responses as needed. Ensure CEO’s direct reports meet deadlines for reports, reviews, and budgets.

• Develop and maintain systems and procedures to ensure efficient office operations.

• Maintain effective communication and relationships with key partners, stakeholders, senior management, and both internal and external contacts.

• Attend meetings, take notes, draft minutes, and follow up on action items as required.

• Provide support to other directors upon request.

• Organise and manage external and internal events as needed.

• Oversee general housekeeping of the C-Suite offices.


Key attributes and skills: 

• Experience providing PA services at the Executive Director/Director level.

• Skilled in managing complex diaries and correspondence for Directors.

• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior officials.

• Proficient in office management.

• Capable of meeting tight deadlines.

• Drivers Licence is essential for this role, you will have access to a company pull car.
