An opportunity has arisen for two Early Years Officer to join the team at Langlees ELC Centre.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.

With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

Post 1 - The post is full time (37 hours) on a term time plus summer holiday contract (43 working weeks) and is permanent within Falkirk Council Education Services.

Post 2 - This post is part time (27.5 hours) on a term time plus summer holiday contract (43 working weeks) and is permanent within Falkirk Council Education Services. The shifts will be on an alternate weekly pattern of 8.00am to 1.30pm and 12.45pm to 6.15pm

Please note the salary in the advert will be adjusted accordingly for part time and term time contract . Langlees ELC Centre is open from 8am to 6pm and you will be required to work a shift pattern during these hours.
