Full Job Description
Saltire Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join our growing team. This is a key operational and technical leadership role responsible for managing the delivery of electrical contracts across domestic and commercial properties. The successful candidate will oversee contract performance, ensure compliance with industry regulations, manage engineers and subcontractors, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects and maintenance works are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements, while providing technical support and guidance across a range of electrical services, including renewable technologies such as solar PV and battery storage systems.,
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical contracts, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Oversee compliance with NICEIC requirements, current electrical regulations, and company procedures
- Review electrical certification, inspection reports, and test results to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide technical leadership and support to engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Monitor contract performance against KPIs, budgets, and service level agreements
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and audits across electrical installations and maintenance activities
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and engineer performance management
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective contract delivery
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiencies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance documentation is completed and stored appropriately
We are looking for a proactive and experienced electrical professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing electrical contracts and operational teams., NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- Previous experience managing electrical contracts, projects, or operational teams
- Strong understanding of electrical compliance, certification, and regulatory requirements
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and service delivery performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence Desirable
- NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status
- Solar PV and battery storage qualifications or experience
- Experience working within social housing, facilities management, or planned maintenance environments
