Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to join our established multidisciplinary Building Services team. The practice works on a variety of projects in and around Aberdeen and across the whole of Scotland as well as UK wide, operating across commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare sectors.

The Role
You would play a key part in the Electrical Design team and the wider company and would be expected to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing electrical systems for building service projects.
Preparing technical reports and specifications.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and clients.
Producing Bills of Quantities and providing cost control / reports per project.
Mentoring junior team members
Education, Experience and Key Skills
Preferably a degree in electrical engineering or a related field but minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent
At least 2 years’ experience in electrical design engineering on Building Services projects.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit drawing packages.
Good working skills with Microsoft office
Working knowledge of lighting design packages such as Dialux & Relux.
Good working knowledge of electrical design software.
Knowledge of electrical systems and building regulations, best practice, and innovative technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
