Essential experience of the Maintenance Electrician

Experience carrying out electrical maintenance activities within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or commercial environments. Experience in fault finding, repair, testing and inspection of electrical systems and equipment. Knowledge of safe systems of work and working within regulated environments. Experience maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance documentation. Good understanding of health and safety legislation, risk assessments and safe working practices. Qualifications for the Maintenance Electrician SVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline, or equivalent recognised qualification. Electrical Testing and Inspection qualification is desirable Additional qualifications or training relevant to electrical maintenance is desirable Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
